美濫殺案疑台灣人受害 外交部：查證中

美加州濫殺案中，已確認就讀該校工程學系的受害者洪晟元出生於台北。外交部發言人高安中午表示，我駐處獲悉後，已立即與警方、校方展開密切聯繫與查證。

美國加州大學聖巴巴拉（Santa Barbara）分校校區附近的駕車槍擊案，凶嫌羅傑（Elliot Rodger）犯案前先將大學室友剌死，隨後下街犯案，加州警方公布3名室友被害人身份，其中洪晟元（Cheng Yuan Hong）與陳喬治（George Chen）是羅傑的室友，另1名死者則是王偉漢（Weihan Wang，音譯），美警目前已確認就讀該校工程學系的洪晟元出生於台北，美僑界盛傳洪就是台灣人。外交部發言人高安中午表示，我駐處獲悉後，已立即與警方、校方展開密切聯繫與查證。
