（中央社維也納2日綜合外電報導）聯合國原子輻射效應科學委員會今天說，日本福島核災不太可能像1986年車諾比核災（Chernobyl），導致罹癌人數增加，然而接收最多輻射劑量的兒童罹癌機率可能上升。

聯合國原子輻射效應科學委員會（UNSCEAR）執行的大規模研究指出，預料福島核災不會使得災區未來罹癌率「大幅度改變」。

福島核災後散發出來的碘131等輻射物質，比車諾比核災還要少，而且日本當局也採取撤離等行動，保護福島電廠週邊居民，因此聯合國預期罹癌率不會大幅上升。

保護措施包括宣布電廠方圓30公里為禁區，不准任何人進入；輻射較低的區域，公園與學校操場的泥土都因可能遭到汙染而刮起另外保存；人行道等公共空間除輻汙；並限制兒童在戶外遊玩的時間。

聯合國原子輻射效應科學委員會說，然而，部分兒童接收到的輻射劑量，可能影響他們以後罹患甲狀腺癌的機率，但罹患這種癌症的可能性依然很低，估計這類兒童人數不到1000人。（譯者：中央社何世煌）1030403
